Muller, Carolyn Y Professor

Carolyn Muller, MD, Division Director is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Medicine and then completed her OB/GYN residency at the affiliate hospital, Pennsylvania Hospital (the nation’s first hospital). She completed her Gynecologic Oncology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1996, where she remained on faculty for eight years.  She is a trained Physician-Scientist through a RSDP K12 5 year postdoctoral fellowship. Dr. Muller joined the University of New Mexico in 2004 as Division Director.  She is widely respected in the medical community and has built the UNM gynecologic oncology division.  She is Associate Director of Clinical Research for the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center responsible for setting the strategic vision of all cancer related clinical research. She has more than 25 years of academic experience and holds numerous national and local leadership positions and will serve a critical role in the mentorship of the fellows.
