Sanchez, Victoria Associate Professor


Victoria Sánchez is an Associate Professor in the Public Health Program (PHP). She earned her M.P.H. at the University of California at Berkeley and her Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) in Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She directs the PHP Community Health Concentration track and teaches social and behavioral sciences courses for the PHP. Over the last two decades she’s worked with communities, public health organizations, and schools in research designed to test, disseminate, or diffuse prevention programs in New Mexico, Texas, California and North Carolina. Dr. Sánchez has a long-standing commitment to participatory planning and evaluation processes with communities and public health organizations.
