outreach overview
I wrote a opinion article for the Albuquerque Journal that was published on May 5, 2013. The article recognized National School Nurse Day and celebrates the contributions of New Mexico school nurses in keeping NM children safe and well. The article "School nurses vital providers of children's health care" helped educate the public about the important contributions of school nurses to the pediatric health care infrastructure.
