Rachel Marzec, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is clinician educator and assistant professor at The University of New Mexico College of Nursing. She has been practicing as a registered nurse for approximately 40 years. Her experience has been primarily in providing care to underserved populations. Since 2002, she is board certified to practice as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. She currently provides medical and behavioral health services to adults and children.

Marzec received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Drexel University; a Post-Master's Certfiicate and a Master of Science in Nursing, with concentrations in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner, from Oregon Health & Sciences University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of New Mexico.
