- Lida Fatemi
Dr. Lida Fatemi, DO, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine. She received her DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Residency at the University of New Mexico. She received her MPH from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. Her research interests are resident and physician advocacy, study of native populations, medical economics, quality improvement, Critical Care and Neuroscience. Dr. Fatemi received various awards including the 2013 American College of Physicians First Place for Poster Presentations, 2013 Intern of the Year Award, 2014 Second Year of the Year Award, 2015 Third Year of the Year Award, 2015-2016 Chief resident, 2014-2015 Committee of Interns and Residents Regional Vice President for UNM Hospital, 2005 Global Field Experience Award from Rollins School of Public Health, 2002 Matthew Carter Humanitarian Award from Emory University and 2002 National Collegiate Emergency Medical Service Foundation Award. She is also an active member of the American College of Physicians and Society of Hospital Medicine.
