Roberta Lavin, PhD, MA, RN, FNP-BC, FAAN, Professor spent twenty years as U.S. Public Health Service officer. She began her career at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC on an acute psychiatric admission unit for those who were homeless.
