Poole, Janet L Professor and Division Chief

Positions

Janet L. Poole, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA is an occupational therapist with an interest in the effects of scleroderma, other rheumatic diseases and aging on participation in daily life activities. She has received funding from the Rheumatology Research Foundation, PCORI and NIH. Dr. Poole is a member and officer of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals and the American Occupational Therapy Association. Currently she is President Elect of the ARHP and will become President of the ARHP in November 2019.  Self management in scleroderma Work disability in people with scleroderma and other rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases Fatigue interventions in scleroderma and other rheumatic diseases Hand function in persons with rheumatic and neuromuscular diseases Effect of aging, rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases on participation in daily tasks and quality of life Motor learning of functional tasks in persons with stroke
