research overview

Dr. Ahmed has a strong interest in outcomes research focusing on sex related disparities and cardiovascular outcomes. Included in this focus are cardiac catherization and PCI related bleeding and prevalence and pathophysiology of coronary microvascular ischemia. She is currently evaluating the role of novel invasive tools to assess coronary microvascular ischemia in the clinical setting.
