Dr. Paterson specializes in adult Orthopaedic spine surgery. He performs routine and complex spine surgeries for a multitude of conditions including trauma, degenerative problems, deformity, and tumors. Dr. Paterson completed his medical education at the University of Louisville, and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of New Mexico. He completed his fellowship in Spine Surgery at Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Center in Golden, Colorado.

His memberships include the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and the American Medical Association. He is Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery.
