Michele Iemolo, PsyD, BCBA, R-DMT, is an Assistant Professor and Licensed Psychologist at the University of New Mexico’s, Center for Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Iemolo conducts screenings and comprehensive evaluations for children 0-5 years of age suspected of autism spectrum disorder. She also trains and supervises psychology interns and post-doctoral trainees, provides direct intervention services to parents and children with autism and other communication challenges, as well as provides on-going trainings, workshops, and didactics to other UNM faculty, staff and students, and professionals and caregivers within the state. Dr. Iemolo is also a board certified behavior analyst and a registered dance movement therapist. Dr. Iemolo is an international faculty member at Kinections, a master’s level credentialing program in counseling and dance-movement therapy and has taught courses in child, dance-movement therapy in China, India and Greece.
