S. Yvonne Ellington, MPA, PA-C, is the Associate Program Director for the UNM Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Her areas of interest are PA education, preventive and family medicine, and orthopaedics.

Senior Lecturer III Instructional Faculty. Serve as the PA instructor of record for several courses in the past and present including: Genetics/Neoplasia, Immunology, GI/Nutrition, CV/Pulm/Renal, Human Structure, Function & Development, Endocrine, Hematology, and Orthopedics. Facilitate small MD/PA student groups in clinical skills and clinical practice learning activities throughout the year.
