Dr Solan is a professor in the Department of Family & community Medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He received his MD from UNM in1982, and completed a residency in Family Medicine at the St Lawrence/Michigan State University program in 1985. He worked for 12 years at a migrant/community health center in Arizona before returning to UNM in 1997.
Dr Solan is the Family Medicine clerkship director and has an interest in immigration health and preventive medicine. He enjoys facilitating resident and student education in the community setting.
Dr Solan is board certified in Family Medicine.
