Perez received her PharmD degree at Butler University in 2011. Following her PharmD degree she completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN and her PGY2 ambulatory care residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. Prior to becoming faculty at UNM in 2018, Dr. Perez was a clinical pharmacist specialist in infectious diseases at Tufts Medical Center.
