Laura Vanyo, MSN, RN, is principal lecturer I at The University of New Mexico College of Nursing. With a clinical background in parent-child nursing, she has taught undergraduate nursing students in class, laboratories and clinical placements for over 25 years. She has certifications in in-patient obstetrics and Lamaze childbirth education.
Vanyo received her Master of Science in Nursing, with a focus on parent-child nursing, from the University of Texas at El Paso; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Arizona State and a Bachelor of Science from Western Washington University.
