Andrew P. Shreve is Director of the Center for Biomedical Engineering (
http://cbme.unm.edu) and a Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of New Mexico. His current research interests include development of biological sensing and imaging technologies, development of spectroscopic and optical instrumentation, studies of self-assembly, study of biological assembly and photophysical behavior of electronic and optical materials, including development of new chromophores and fluorophores, development of patterned functional thin-film materials, and experimental and theoretical study of energy and electron transfer processes.
