Dr Valdez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family  and Community Medicine.  She has practiced in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho area  since  1989.  Dr. Valdez joined the University of NM Family  Medicine department in 2011 and  practices primarily at the Sandoval Regional Medical center.  She participates in  teaching medical students, Physician Assistant students and  residents. She also practices at  the Pajarito Mesa Clinic and is active with the BA/MD Admissions committee.
