Meize-Grochowski, Robin Professor Emerita

Positions

Dr. Meize-Grochowski received her PhD in Nursing and MSN from The University of Texas at Austin, and her BSN from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Meize-Grochowski has been involved in nursing education for over 30 years, most recently teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in nursing research, gerontology, patient education, teaching in nursing, physiological concepts, and health outcomes. She has also held a variety of positions in higher education administration during her tenure at the University of New Mexico. Dr. Meize-Grochowski’s clinical and research interests include pain management, holistic and integrative health care, type 1 diabetes, celiac disease, and gerontology. She is currently PI for the UNM Center of Excellence in Pain Education (CoEPE), funded by the NIH Pain Consortium (2012-2014).
