Dr. Janice W. Yager has extensive experience designing and conducting environmental and occupational health research that includes laboratory investigation as well as population studies.  Her research has focused on development and translation of biological monitoring (biomarker) methods that reflect exposure and early biological effects. She has received a number of awards for scientific excellence in research including an NIH Fogarty International Fellowship.  She has served on executive committees of a number of professional societies and as an invited member of state, federal, and international environmental health scientific advisory committees including the National Academy of Sciences, US Environmental Protection Agency, the World Health Organization and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.  She is author or co-author of more than 65 publications in refereed journals, monographs and book chapters.
