Hendrix, Ingrid Division Head, Education, Consultation and Reference Services, Nursing Services Librarian

Positions

Ingrid Hendrix, MILS, is the nursing services librarian at The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center, where she is on the faculty as principal lecturer III at the School of Medicine, College of Nursing and Occupational Therapy Graduate Program. Hendrix is a distinguished member of the Medical Library Association's Academy of Health Information Professionals. She has been a medical librarian for more than 20 years and has collaborated on multidisciplinary research and publications in the areas of information-seeking skills of nurses in the intensive care unit, functional and social benefits of service dogs and clinical resource utilization of medical students. Hendrix received her Master of Information and Library Science and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
