Fox, Lindsay E. Clinical Outreach Coordinator

Positions

Lindsay is a Faculty/Lecturer and Clinical and Outreach coordinator with the UNM Physician Assistant Program. She is graduate of St Francis Physician Assistant Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2011 with a focus on Hematology/ Oncology. After graduation she went on to practice General and Surgical Oncology with Presbyterian Medical Group in Albuquerque for several years working extensively in areas including breast, thyroid and colon carcinomas. In 2013, she was recruited to become the medical lead for Project ECHO Complex Care Clinic at the Southwest Mesa Clinic for Family and Community Medicine at UNM. This study was funded by a Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Innovation Grant along with significant contributions by NM Medicaid Providers to study whether increased access and intensive primary care could reduce the overall cost burden of the most expensive utilizers of healthcare dollars. She joined the faculty at the PA program 2015 and continues to see patients at Southwest Mesa Clinic utilizing the ECHO platform to treat complex patients with HEPC and multiple comorbidities.

She is passionate about expanding the roles mid-levels providers to provide care to populations such as rural, underserved or patients marginalized as a result of mental health issues, addictions and social determinants.
