Rowland teaches Perinatal Epidemiology, and Developmental Epidemiology (children’s mental health) in the MPH program as well as undergraduate classes on Introduction to Population Health class and Population Health Research Methods. Rowland was selected to be part of the UNM Provost’s Scholar program where he is working with other educators on how to make the teaching of research skills more accessible to all students. He is a co-investigator on a recently awarded Student Experience Project grant from the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU).
