Katherine Grand, MSN, RN, is a senior lecturer at The University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Nursing. She has been a nurse for 25 years. Her nursing specialties are adult medical-surgical nursing and wound care. She has been in academia for more than 10 years and is passionate about nursing and teaching.   Grand graduated from Chamberlain College of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing, with a concentration in Education, in 2013 and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the UNM College of Nursing in 1995.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International honor society and the National League for Nursing.
