Holdsworth, Mark Associate Professor

Mark received a BS in pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island in 1984 and a PharmD from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1987. Mark also completed a hospital pharmacy residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York City in 1985 and a 2-year Oncology fellowship at the University of Arizona in 1989. He has served as a clinical pharmacist for the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology for 22 years and served as the chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Services for 14 years. Mark also served as a Chair for the Human Research Review Committee in the School of Medicine for 14 years.

Research Interests

Mark’s practice and research has focused on supportive care for children with cancer, adverse drug events in pediatrics, educational research and research ethics. His specific research interests include medication safety and incidental findings.
