Weagel, Edward F Biomedical Informatics Manager

Mr. Weagel has a diverse educational and experiential background which includes Theoretical Physics, Semiconductor Device Modeling, Software Development, and most recently Biomedical Informatics. He is currently the manager of the Infomatics group of the Clinical & Translational Science Center (CTSC) at the University of New Mexico.

UNM’s CTSC offers a variety of informatics services to the community of investigators at UNM’s Health Sciences Center. These include a Clinical Data Warehouse (with honest broker services), I2B2, web-based REDCap data capture software, and the hosting and maintenance of the institution’s VIVO site.
