Sanchez, Crystal Lecturer I

Crystal Sanchez, MSN, RN, is a lecturer I at the University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Nursing. She graduated from UNM with a Master of Science in Nursing degree, with a concentration in Nursing Education. She has a background in critical care nursing, with a focus on trauma, surgical, burn, and cardiothoracic surgery patients. She obtained her Critical Care Registered Nurse certification and her Trauma Certified Registered nurse certification. She is currently working with undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree students. She has presented at the National Teaching Institute conference in 2017. Crystal's professional interests include trauma nursing and critical care. She hopes that her passion for critical care comes across in her classroom. Prior to becoming a nurse, Crystal served five years active duty in the United States Marine Corps and supported Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
