Eva Warner grew up in colorful Colorado, though she spent a significant time living in South America with her family. She became a sociologist at University of Colorado in Boulder. She has worked in community health and grassroots organizations in Colorado prior to getting her Bachelors and Masters of Nursing at Columbia University in New York. She has produced research on social determinants of maternal health in India and New York. She is was awarded the National Health Service Corps Scholarship and serves the underserved community in Valencia county and UNM hospital. Her interests include health disparities and equity, social determinants of health, medical sociology and immigrant health. She speaks English and Spanish fluently.
