Dr. Sergio Huerta, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine. He received his MD from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of New Mexico. His research interests include High Value Care and Hospitalist Training Track. He has also received the 2013 UNM Clinic Care Award. Dr. Huerta is a member of the American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine, American College of Physicians Executives.
