Dr. Yonke is an assistant professor of family & community medicine at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. She received her MD from Oregon Health and Sciences University (OHSU) in 2007. She completed a residency in family medicine in 2010 and preventive medicine in 2011 at OHSU. She then completed a fellowship in maternal child health in 2013 at UNM.
Dr. Yonke has focused her research on the effects of substance use in pregnancy and newborns, breastfeeding, and family planning. She also is interested in any research related to maternal child health.
