Dr. Dutton earned her medical degree from the University of California San Francisco. She went on to complete her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Stanford University before pursuing a fellowship in Sports Medicine, also at Stanford. Dr. Dutton has been with the University of New Mexico since 2016, where she specializes in the diagnosis and non-operative management of musculoskeletal and sports-related injuries. Her clinical expertise also includes electrodiagnosis of muscular and neurogenic conditions as well as the use of ultrasound for musculoskeletal diagnosis as well as guidance of non-surgical procedures. Dr. Dutton currently serves as a team physician for the University of New Mexico Lobos. While she thoroughly enjoys working with athletes of all levels and backgrounds, as an avid runner herself, she has a particular interest in running and endurance sports medicine. Dr. Dutton tries to pass as much of her free time as possible outdoors. She has a passion for hiking, biking, and skiing. She also enjoys long-distance running and is a 6-time finisher of the Boston Marathon. On the rare inclement weather day in New Mexico, Dr. Dutton relishes a good craft project or cooking experiment.
