- Outcome measures may be used for a variety of reasons by clinicians and researchers. This paper provides an overview on motor measures that can be used in research or practice and are classified within the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health or ICF. Specifically, body function measures of neuromusculoskeletal and movement-related functions are presented, as are mobility measures within the activity and participation domain of the ICF. Descriptions of measures within these categories and their psychometric properties are provided.
