Loren Kelly, MSN, RN, is a clinician educator - instructor at The University of New Mexico (UNM) College of Nursing.  She teaches within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Kelly received her Master of Science in Nursing from UNM, her Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Potsdam and her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Castleton State College in Vermont. In addition to teaching, Kelly is one of the representatives for the College of Nursing for the UNM Health Sciences Center Office of Interprofessional Education. Her areas of interest include Health Care Systems, Health Policy, Public Health, Population Health, Global Health, Indigenous Health, Rural Health, Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, Education, Clinical Innovations, Interprofessional Collaborative Practice and Education, and Food Access. Courses taught include Community and Population Health, Health Systems, Interprofessional Education, Clinical Rotation in Navajo Nation, Chinle, AZ.; Care of Vulnerable Populations and Global health experiential learning.
