Ho, Thanh-Tam Certified Nurse Midwife, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner

Positions

Thanh-Tam Ho has been with the UNM Midwifery Group since 2010. She became a midwife and women's health nurse practitioner out of a lifelong desire to support and empower women and families.
Thanh-Tam's parents came to the U.S. at the end of the Vietnam War. Thanh-Tam was born and raised in New York. She received a BA in Literature from Yale University before moving to New York City to work as an investigator of police misconduct with the Civilian Complaint Review Board. She then moved to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to work with children affected by Agent Orange. After attending midwifery school at University of California San Francisco, she moved to Albuquerque with her husband - a New Mexico native - and has been with the UNM Midwifery Group ever since.
In her free time, Thanh-Tam enjoys running, taking hikes with her toddler and dog, and cooking, and spends a very fun week every year with the amazing kids at the Beyond Limits Adaptive Sports Camp (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beyond-Limits-Adaptive-Sports-Camp/180224545352195).
Thanh-Tam speaks English and Spanish.
